Single Diaphragm, Positive Displacement
With a single diaphragm and positive displacement, our Series 8000 air pump is a good solution if you’re looking for a small, air pump. Additionally, this pump delivers 1,000 hours of continuous energy efficient and durable duty.
Available in a 12 or 24 voltage option, this pump is best known for its ability to move air/gasses from an inlet and deliver it to an outlet. Customers also get an option of using a Buna-N or Viton® o-ring. The pump body is nylon with a permanent magnet DC motor. Click here for full spec sheet.

Cleanroom Capability - We Have It!
Smart Products can mold & assemble
parts in a Class 10,000 ISO 7 Cleanroom
Need your parts manufactured in a controlled environment? Our facility is capable of molding and assembling all of our plastic pieces in a Class 10,000 and ISO 7 standard cleanroom.
Like typical cleanrooms, the concentration of airborne particles is controlled to specified limits. Eliminating sub-micron airborne contamination is all about control. Contaminants - generated by people, process, facilities and equipment - must be continually removed from the air. We have processes and filtering systems in place to be able to measure and maintain a Class 10,000 level, as well as the ISO 7 standard.
Our cleanroom prevents these contaminants from entering our valves and pumps, which can be an essential requirement for certain devices within the electronics, pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, medical device industries and other critical manufacturing environments. For questions regarding our cleanroom, call us at (800) 338-0404.

Ethylene-Propylene O-rings
A popular choice - available in peroxide & sulfur curing options
Ethylene Propylene aka EPDM is a popular choice for many of our customers. Known for having excellent chemical resistance properties and working at a temperature range of -60°F to 250°F, EPDM is an ideal choice for many devices within the medical, industrial, and other markets.
One consideration when requesting this particular o-ring is a peroxide versus sulfur curing option. Sulfur is our standard curing option because this type of O-ring has a wider durometer (hardness of rubber) range with our lowest opening pressures. If sulfur is not an option for your application criteria, we offer peroxide cured. In our experience, peroxide cured o-rings hold up better against certain solvents versus the sulfur cured option, but the o-ring’s durometer must be harder. And, the combination of a really strong o-ring with an ultra low spring pressure (such as 5 PSI and lower) does not always work well together. In order to meet your specific design criteria, we must know all chemicals coming into contact with the valve, as well as your PSI requirements. Sharing this information ensures we get the perfect o-ring, durometer, and curing combination, in addition to the valve’s opening PSI and plastic body material. We can also send samples, if necessary.
To learn more about the function, importance, and many possibilities we offer with all of our o-rings – EPDM, Buna-N (Nitrile), Viton®, Silicone, Fluorosilicone, Aflas, Kalrez®, and others – click here.
We have a seemingly endless amount of solutions when it comes to building the right valve for your application. To get started, visit www.smartproducts.com or call (800) 338-0404.
